Schemel’s Town Hall to Focus on Veterans Issues
3/9/2020
WAYNESBORO – State Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) and a representative of the American Legion will answer questions from veterans during a town hall meeting on Thursday, March 19.

The meeting, from 6:30-8 p.m., will be in the newly rebuilt Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 social hall at 63 E. Main St., Waynesboro.

Schemel will be joined by American Legion Department Service Officer Paul DeVincenzo to answer questions related to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other veterans’ benefits.

“This is my first town hall of 2020 in the 90th District,” Schemel said. “A service officer from the American Legion is in my district office in the Waynesboro area on the first Wednesday of every month. There is a demonstrated need for veterans to be assisted with obtaining benefits they earned.”

Schemel’s upcoming town hall meetings are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, and Thursday, Sept. 17.
