WAYNESBORO – Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) will host a town hall-style meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Greencastle High Line Train Station.
“I serve on the House State Government Committee, which is tasked with drawing new congressional district boundaries. Pennsylvania is losing a congressional district, going from 18 to 17, and the new congressional districts must account for the changes in the Commonwealth’s population. At this town hall meeting, I will share some of the demographic data contained in the recently released Census results and explain the process for re-drawing congressional district boundaries. In addition to taking questions on redistricting, I will also answer any other questions attendees may have,” Schemel said.
The train station is located at 21 S. Jefferson St., Greencastle, near the intersection with West Baltimore Street.
