WAYNESBORO – Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) would like to remind constituents that he is hosting a town hall meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16, that will focus on reducing the cost of the state Legislature, to include a discussion of legislative pay and benefits. The town hall will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the South Mountain Bible Church, 11272 South Mountain Road in Fayetteville.

“Operating state government is expensive, but there are ways to reduce the cost and the burden to taxpayers,” said Schemel. “I encourage anyone with an interest in this topic to join us and take part in the conversation.”

Schemel regularly holds town halls at various locations in the 90th Legislative District.
