HARRISBURG, Pa. – The House today passed a $33.997 billion spending plan as the General Appropriations portion of the state budget. The legislation will now be taken up by the state Senate.

HARRISBURG – As he seeks ways to lessen the burden of stormwater runoff costs borne by municipalities and their taxpayers, Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) is lending his support to a measure that would give counties the opportunity to direct revenue from impact fees to those costs.

State Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) hosted a town hall meeting Thursday in Zullinger for constituents interested in criminal justice reform. HARRISBURG – A three-bill package sponsored by Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) that would make intergovernmental cooperation easier and more efficient in Pennsylvania passed unanimously in the House of Representatives this week. House Bills 510, 511 and 512 will next be considered by the Senate.
