Schemel Sees Nothing New in Wolf’s Budget Proposal

HARRISBURG – Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) and other members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly heard Gov. Tom Wolf’s spending proposals for Fiscal Year 2019-20 during his annual budget address on Tuesday. The governor’s budget totals $34.1 billion, which is a $927 million increase over the current year.

Schemel Receives Committee Assignments for New Session

HARRISBURG – Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) today announced that he has been appointed to serve on the House Environmental Resources and Energy, Health, Judiciary, and Labor and Industry committees for the 2019-20 legislative session. Schemel was sworn into office for another term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Jan. 1.

Park Project Awarded State Grant, Says Schemel

HARRISBURG – State funding has been awarded to Quincy Township for expansion of its municipal park, according to Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin). The grant program is administered by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
